Digital asset risks

Understand the asset, network and transaction before using a crypto wallet.

Pre-release information · Updated September 7, 2026

USDC is not a bank deposit

USDC is a digital asset intended to track the US dollar. It is not a USD bank deposit or an FDIC-insured balance. Digital assets can lose value and carry issuer, reserve, redemption, technology and network risks. Test USDC has no real monetary value.

Use the correct network

Addresses alone do not identify a supported network. Only send assets supported by the wallet on the network explicitly shown. The current Akordia test experience uses Base Sepolia. Sending real or unsupported assets can result in loss or inaccessible funds.

Transfers and fees

Blockchain transactions can be irreversible. Confirm the recipient and amount before signing. Estimated network fees may change, and confirmation can be delayed. A submission or pending status is not proof that a payment has completed.

Access and recovery

Losing access to your authentication or recovery methods may prevent access to a wallet. Protect your recovery information and use the security options available to your account. Support cannot guarantee recovery of an incorrect transfer or lost access.

Production availability

Real-money access is not open. Any future supported networks, funding methods, fees and eligibility requirements will be disclosed when those services are approved and available.
